The Blasting Video Contest is organized by the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Mining Engineers of Turkiye. The first edition of this contest will be held in conjunction with the FRAGBLAST 14 Symposium and Exhibition. The goal of the contest is to foster solidarity among professionals in the drilling and blasting, and mining industries, and to showcase their work through video recordings of blasting operations.
Videos selected from those submitted by individuals currently or previously working in blasting operations and demolitions will be showcased during the FRAGBLAST 14 Symposium and Exhibition, which will take place from April 7-10, 2025, in Antalya, Turkey. Participants are encouraged to submit any videos related to blasting operations.
Contest Theme: Blasting, underground blasting, open pit mining, construction excavation blasting, demolition involved blasting, underwater blasting and other specialized blasting operations.
Contest Prize: The top three videos, as judged by the Selection Committee, will receive complimentary registration and accommodation for the FRAGBLAST 14 Symposium and Exhibition.

Video Contest Participation Rules:
Videos submitted to the contest that are observed to have violated occupational health and safety regulations during filming will not be considered for evaluation.
Only videos related to the specified contest themes will be evaluated. Submissions that do not meet these criteria will be disregarded.
Videos must be of high resolution and quality, with a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (HD), and should not exceed 60 seconds.
The video must not contain any personal identifiers such as names, signatures, logos, etc., of the participant.
Videos should be recorded in horizontal (16:9) format.
Submitted videos may be used by the Chamber of Mining Engineers of Turkey in any manner and location, free of charge.
Members of the Selection Committee and the National and International Committees of FRAGBLAST-14 are not eligible to participate to the contest.
Submitted videos must not have been previously entered in any other competition.
Participants may submit a maximum of three videos.
By submitting a video, the participant confirms that the work is entirely their own or that of their company, and that all necessary permissions have been obtained. Videos found to be in violation of these terms will not be evaluated. The video owner is responsible for any legal issues that may arise after submission.
c) Identity Information
Participants will fill out the "Blasting Video Contest Participation Form" completely and make a "Personal Statement". The participation form will include the row number, company, project, location and date information for each video.

Videos can be send by registering through "www.fragblast.org.tr/video" section and receiving a download link, or by emailing the registration form and download link to "[email protected]"
Videos can also be send via file-sharing sites such as Google Drive, WeTransfer, or TransferXL

Copyright:
Selected videos will be shown at the Fragblast 14 Symposium and Exhibition in April 2025. The selected videos can be used free of charge by TMMOB Chamber of Mining Engineers without any income/commercial purpose. Other videos will be deleted from the digital environment and storage.

All recordings except the selected videos will be deleted from the digital environment and storage..
